About Me :) |
Allie Clophus
|
Hi, I am Allie Clophus, a hard working, determined, go-getter level 10 gymnast. I am 17 years old, in the 11th grade and I am graduating in 2022. My goal is to earn an athletic scholarship as well as an academic scholarship. I work hard inside and outside of the gym. I love, love, love gymnastics!!
I was born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana where I began tumbling when I was 6 years old at Gymnastics Elite Training Center in Sulphur, Louisiana! I joined team just two months of recreational gymnastics. When I was going to the 4th grade my family and I moved because of my dad's new job. I wasn't afraid of making new friends or moving to a new school; but I was afraid I wouldn't find a great gym........but I DID!!
I have been in Sandy, Utah for about 7 ½ years. I train at Olympus Gymnastics in South Jordan, Utah. In Utah, I found a new gym Olympus gymnastics and it is fabulous. Great coaches, great teammates, and great everything!
My whole family supports me in gymnastics. Even when my mom says I might be 5 min late, I call my older brother to see if he can take me. I would rather be at gym 1 or 2 hours early than be 5 min late. For the past two years they let me home school and my mom takes me to gym during her lunch break. I asked my parents last year if I could homeschool because I wanted to get better at my skills and just learn as many passes, leaps and skills I could get before my mom makes me go to high school.
My number one goal is to be recruited for my gymnastics skills and my grades. My school work always has to come first, then gymnastics. I try to get A’s in school but last semester I made an A- in math. I am in the National Honor Society. I work really hard at everything I do. I know that I need to put my work in if I want to continue to be better. When I have free time, I like to watch tv, hang out with my gym friends, or just relax.
I would love for you take a look at my skills and the skills I am working on. Also I have a you tube page I am working on.
** Due to a SLAP tear, I did not be compete in Regionals or Nationals 2018.*** :( :( I had surgery 3-23-18
Please take the time to follow me in my journey to become a great college gymnast or contact my coaches and recruit ME :) :)
